political maps display names and boundaries of countries and identify only major physical features
identify the Greek "polis" . discuss its physical make-up as well as its political, social, and economic characteristics. why is it often considered to be the beginning of early democracy.
no
Italy is not a continent it is part of the continent Europe.
The physical features of the continent was formed due to plate tectonics.
Almost all the continents have names starting with the letter A. We have Asia, America (north and south), Africa, Australia, Antarctica. Only Europe does not start with A. Sometimes Europe and Asia are combined into the continent of Eurasia (since the distinction between Europe and Asia is political rather than physical) but alas, that too starts with an E. I could still say that every single name of a continent starts with one of the first 5 letters of the alphabet.
Two ways to be able to identify a physical property are the color and the concistancy.

A country is a political and geographical entity, typically with defined borders and its own government, while a continent is a large landmass made up of multiple countries. Countries exist within continents, which are the largest divisions of land on Earth.
