I would suspect a plugged fuel filter which can cause a overheating fuel pump and / or the fuel pump is going out again.
I experienced a problem with a 84 Grand Marquis that would stall at stops. Found that the ignition switch in the steering column had separated that caused the stalling problem. Replaced the ignition switch that solved the problem.

Typical Town Car/Crown Vic/Grand Marquis problem. The computer which controls the tranny probably needs to be replaced.
I had one do this and I had to change the brake calipers. Problem was gone.

Yes it will. That happened to my wifes car. The mechanic replaced the pump and it still had the same problem. Replaced the fuel pump regulator and still the same problem. The problem was the ignition switch was shorted and the car thought it was being stolen and shut off the fuel pump. Hope it helps!

If you replaced the hose and it happened again, it's probably an over-pressure condition. If you HAVEN'T replaced the hose, try it. I had this exact problem. I put a screw type clamp on it instead of the spring type. took care of that problem..
