When first start the engine on your ford escape in park, it sputtered and then when warm up it runs ok and then when you driving on the road it jerks going up the hill and lose power. And on flat road it smooth out.

ours does that too, fuel pump wiring apparenty is faulty. sometimes fuse blows, sometimes just dies. check wire from tank back to relay. good luck
