From your description it sounds as if it MAY be your tires. When sitting for a long period of time (overnight) some types of tires develop a 'flat' spot which causes a shaking sensation when you first start driving the car. As the tires warm up from driving the flat spot goes away and the shaking disappears. Just a thought. Good luck. I have a Ford Focus myself and this happened to my car I replaced My Spark Plugs and Wires and it never came back. Try that.
If that doesn't work it could be something more serious. You may need a full tune up, or you may be suffering the effects of a factory defect in the engine mounts. My son's 2000 Focus had the same problem; a vibration when the car was cold that would go away after about 20 minutes of driving. The dealer replaced the front motor mount and the vibration was eliminated.
It lones to move very jittery and uncontrolably.
If you meant "Why is there a vibration, or vibration like sound when I'm driving" it is because either the drive-shaft is dented or one of the balancing weights is removed. Or basically it is not balanced, therefore vibration occurs.
Stalling at idle? Immediately after starting? While driving? While stopping? Cold or hot engine? What engine do you have?
I am assuming its your car that you are driving. Your wheels or axle could be out of alignment.
because something is about to break.
No...not typically. A bad PS Pump can cause a vibration while turning the wheels at slow speeds, like in a parking lot etc. Most likely a vibration while driving would be caused by, Out of Balance or Out of Round Tires / Bent Wheels or Axles / Bad Wheel Bearings / Bad CV Axle / Bad U-Joint or Damaged Driveline (RWD & AWD) Vehicles. These are the areas you should be checking first for "Vibration While Driving" Posting the speed your vehicle vibrates can also be helpful. :)
Immediately after you finished your last drink and turned on the ignition in your car and began driving.
(1)Bad tires, (2)front end alignment, (3)bent drive shaft are the most common reasons for vibration.
This is probably due to worn brake rotors on the brakes, if there is no vibration when driving then this will be the cause.
Steering wheel vibration when applying brakes is usually caused by warped disc brake rotors
Not if you immediately wash the cement off and I do mean immediately not 10 minutes later.
A flat tire is one possibility
