there is two heater hoses that come out of the water pump on the left side. The first one is very short, about 6-9 inches. The other one is longer and is under the short one. This applies to 92-97 Ford econoline vans. This should be very helpful http://www.autoclinix.com/Ford/Pump.html
i replace the filler neck on my 1994 E150 with a piece of radiator hose. it leaked every time i filled up with gas. had to replace the vent hose also with a piece of heater hose.
There is always one and is located close to the termostat just follow the user radiator hose down to the housing it will be close to it
They just clamp on. If you can change a radiator hose, you can do it. Just get the hose from a dealer & use the same clamps.

Cut off the crimp connectors, pull the old hose off and replace with conventional heater hose and conventional hose clamps
It should be the same as my 1995 - at the firewall the heater hose nearest the drivers side is the inlet hose to the heater core
