I'm a mechanic at a Ford dealership and there is a service message from Ford advising that 2008 and Job #1 2009 Focus do not have the outside temp function. I have checked on my Job #1 2009 Focus and the wiring harness is different, there is no wiring for an outside sensor, later build 2009 do have the wiring and sensor.
How is a thermometer like a number line?
NUMBERING is a correct position the number lines on a thermometer.
If its a digital readout, no, because it has a limited number of readings, whereas a analogue (liquid ) thermometer has a (theoreticallly) unlimited number of readings.
because it has a number on it's thermometer for food.
No! There is no such thing as a Laser thermometer. You mean an infrared thermometer with a laser pointer. All point and shoot thermometers are infrared based. Since infrared light is in the spectrum, it does not require excitation or amplification therefore it is not a laser. Laser is the acronym for Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The Thermometer it self has a specific Micro chip that has a pre set temperature range. The display may show you a number above 1000 but it is false. The Rayethon corporation developed one of the first affordable portable infrared thermometers.
Engine number will be located bottom right hand corner of windscreen (external) i.e. below tax disc and also there should be a metal plate near bonnet catch.
I varies depending upon the size of the thermometer.
It depends on the temperature range the thermometer was designed to measure
Computer monitors are typically measured and marketed by the diagonal length of the screen. The diagonal can be calculated by using the Pythagorean theorem; that is to take square root of the combined height squared plus the width squared.
A thermometer.
-- Bring thermometer into room. -- Wave it around in the air of the room for a minute or two. -- Do not hold the thermometer in your hand or breathe on it. -- Wait a while for the room temperature to get through the thermometer glass. -- Look through the glass at the sliver of liquid inside the thermometer. Find the end of the liquid, and see what number is marked on the glass at the same level. That number is your room temperature.
