there are no timing marks for reference. you have to use special tools. I have OTC #6474 you cannot replace the timing belt without at least this one tool. you will also need a cam pulley holding device to retighten the cam bolts. Currently I am doing the job with the proper tools and still having no luck getting the motor to run properly. good luck people

If you are talking about ignition timing there are no marks. The timing is controlled by the computer according to various parmeters of sensors. If you are talking about valve timing the camshaft mark is on the head and the crankshaft mark is on the oil pump housing.
