you might have a ground wire off the sending unit in tank but befor you pull the tank out hit the tank a few times wit a hammer... i know it sound dumb but it could fix your problem
It's not fused separately. If your fuel gauge isn't working, you either have faulty wiring to the gauge, or a faulty fuel sending unit.
I have a 1999 s-10 my fuel gauge quit working I had to replace my fuel pump that fixed my proplem
have you checked the fuel gauge itself to make sure it is working
With fuel pressure gauge attached and engine running, briefly and I mean briefly, pinch off the return fuel line while watching the gauge. If the fuel pressure spikes the regulator is working. The normal pressure of the fuel system before you pinch off the return line would be 60 to 66 psi.
want to replace fuel gauge with aftermarket gauge, need to keep stock sending unit, will a 230 ohm gauge work
what is the fuel capacity of a 1998 chevy s-10 pick up
need to know where to tie in to the fuel gage have a black and white omming out of fank
I did not find any specific vehicle that comes with a fuel gage with pink lights. However, GlowShifts has an Elite 10 Color Fuel Level Gauge that you can install that has ten backlit LED colors to choose from or you can have it cycle through all of the colors. It looks like Pink is one of the colors. You can find this gauge online at http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/elite-10-color-fuel-level-gauge.aspx.
About 10 seconds after the engine stops running.
More than likely the sending unit in the fuel tank is bad. The fuel tank has to be removed to gain acces to it.
It doesn't have one.
You either have to raise the bed up or take the fuel tank out. That is the only way.
