Change the thermocouple. -This is the device that keeps the gas open to the pilot and thus controls the regulator. They cost less than $10 and can usually be changed in less than an hour. If you haven't done it before I would suggest hiring a competent handyman to do it, or ifyou are quite mechanically inclined, YouTube it to find any videos of it.
Sludge
It's turning off
That's almost a question.
It does for a gas furnace and gives you the opportunity to do maintenance while it is off. Why not spaek with driver od the company that delivers your oil. They will be more familar with your unit and could offer tips.
Fuel pump or filter??
change MAP sensor
You have to install a chip that keeps it from shutting
When charging a system with a low pressure control and the control keeps shutting the compressor off, you should:
Low pressure switch shutting the unit on and off. Possibly low on freon.
Need to replace the ingnition module in the distributor.
Replace rubber washers and possibly metal seats in the faucet
That is the function of the fan/limit control on your furnace. When the thermostat nears the point where the room temp setpoint is satified it shuts off the flame. The fan/limit control keeps the fan on for a minute or so to cool the furnace down before shutting off. Conversly, if your watch your furnace at start up you will see the flame lights first but the fan does not come on for a minute or so to allow the furnace to get hot and avoid blowing cold air into the home.
