What is furnace glass?

Italian glass blowing techniques such as latticinio and zanfirico are adapted here to make beads. Furnace glass uses large decorated canes built up out of smaller canes, encased in clear glass and then extruded to form the beads with linear and twisting stripe patterns. No air is blown into the glass. These beads require a large scale glass furnace and annealing (glass) kiln for manufacture.

What causes lights to dim when the furnace and refrigerator motors come on?

A loose or disconnected neutral wire at breaker box or at the appliance. Depending on what is on when and if two or more motors are running at the same time. This can as well have the opposite effect too, lights too bright.

Although loose connection can cause a problem and you should have all the connections checked, it could also be caused by several other reasons. You distance from and the load on the transformer, the size of you service conductors or lateral, the age and maintenance of your appliances. I have found out that light dimming happens in almost every house but some people are more sensitive to it than others.

Usually dimming of lights when an appliance kicks it is caused by a voltage drop of the supply caused by a heavy demand for current when the appliance initially starts. This is usually associated with an appliance that has a motor such as a refrigerator, furnace, washing machine, vacuum cleaner etc. Motors demand about 6 times their steady running current when they first start up and this can be a significant surge of current for maybe a half second or so till the motor has started and is up to speed. This basically momentarily 'overloads' the supply and lowers the voltage available to other devices, thereby causing them to momentarily slow down (if a motor) or dim (if it is a lamp).

If you switch to the new power saving compact spiral bulbs, their internal electronic ballast compensates somewhat for line voltage, so they won't react as noticeably to heavy loads starting up elsewhere in your house. The same is true for fluorescent tube fixtures with electronic ballasts.

One more point:If the lights are on a dimmer, they are very sensitive to change in voltage and will change their brightness disproportionately to the slight changes in voltage caused by motors or other heavier loads switching off and on.

Where was Daniel when Shadrach Meshack and Abednego was thrown into the fiery furnace?

Daniel was a slave, and had been renamed Belteshazzar by King Nebuchadnezzar. Because Daniel was able to accurrately interpret one of the King's dreams the King placed him in a high position. He was ruler of the entire province of Babylon and in charge of all its wise men. Daniel had the King make Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego administrators over Babylon while he remained in the Royal Court. Read Daniel 2:24-49 The episode with the fiery furnace follows immediately, and is in chapter 3. Daniel, however, is not mentioned in this episode. The context makes it clear that the three were the only ones who defied the king and didn't bow; and it also makes it clear that all the royal officeholders from throughout the land were indeed there at the time; the only reasonable conclusion (though it's not explicitly confirmed) is that Daniel was in fact present, and that he did in fact bow. This is an uncomfortable truth to consider, but the other possibilities (that he refused to bow but was exempted; that he wasn't in town) are each far more unlikely. Some teachers start from the assumption that Daniel couldn't have done such a thing, and therefore conclude that he must not have been there, but all the facts clearly point to the reality that *every* official was there and had been called in from the furthest reaches of the kingdom. While it is horrible that Daniel would have bowed, it is not at all out of keeping with the behavior of other Bible heroes, who regularly behaved out of character. The Hebrew and Christian scriptures proclaim often that there is no one who is really righteous, and that all are sinners who fall short. No less than Abraham, Moses, or King David, Daniel was an imperfect person. The rest of the book shows that Daniel bravely stood against tyranny and stood for his identity and his God for the rest of his life, and the sum total of his actions show him as a role model for integrity in the face of overwhelming political and social pressure.

Does phosphatidyl lcholine deoxxchalcite shots works as a fat burner?

The use of phosphatidylcholine is well documented as an injectable therapy to get rid of small area's of fat. That is, soft fat that you can grab onto, such in the love handles, the belly, the saddlebags, dorsal bulges and around the bra-line. It is also effective in treating double chins and jowls. However, it is important to note 2 things: 1.) This is not a weight-loss treatment!! Patients are not suitable for this if they are over 25% of the ideal Body Mass Index. 2.) you must go to a reputable doctor using high quality products. a good list of reputable doctors can be found on www.network-lipolysis.com

Why does your pilot light keeps going out on your gas heater?

The pilot could be dirty and may be too weak to heat the thermocouple properly.

Most of the time it comes down to replacing the thermocouple.

ANS 2 The thermocouple costs less than $19 and can be changed in about 30 minutes. Best to first Shut off gas, and remove your one, then take to the store for comparison. There are 5-6 different types but all very similar. Honeywell Universal is good for many heaters. This is essentially a thin copper tube 18 -30 inches long, with a metal bulb at one end and a hollow nut at the regulator end. Many good instructions on internet about how to do it

Where can you obtain a wiring diagarm for a Goodman air conditioner?

Hi, The wiring diagram is no problem but you didn't say what type unit or model number? Are we talking heat pump, split system, package system, strip heat and etc. Goodman is as good a unit as anybodys in my humble opinion. They are also very bargain priced with easy service features and readily available replacement components at just about any A.C./ Heating / and Appliance Parts Store. Goodman has a web. site as well so I suggest you go to it and find out whom your local dealer/distributor is so you can get wiring diagram if you've lost yours that came with unit. Goodman is also very good about putting a wiring diagram somewhere on the inside access panels of all their units so be sure and look there first.

What is flame rectification?

Flame rectification is DC electrical circuit that sends a very small voltage (rated in micro amps) from the furnace electronic board up through the pilot electrode. When pilot flame is established the flame acts as a path (conductor) which allows the DC current to flow from the flame rod to ground completing the circuit. This completed signal tells the electronic board it's ok to allow the main gas valve to open . Now your furnace pilot, or hot surface ignitor will start the main flame . To put it simple, flame rectification is an electronic way to prove pilot flame before opening the main burner gas valve. It's a safety circuit to prevent the main burner gas valve from opening if there isn't apilot flame, or hot surface ignitor established.

Is blast furnace a batch furnace?

A blast furnace runs continuously, and input materials are continually dumped in at the top to make their way down through the furnace. Shutting down a blast furnace for relining or other work is a major event in its life.

Water coming from furnace?

If you are running your central heating/air conditioner unit to cool your home, moisture will condense on the cooling coil inside the unit and should drain out to the outside or will be pumped out. This will lower the humidity in your house.

The question is to vague, but I suspect a coil pan leaking 90% or better furnaces are also condensing and generate water.

What size furnace for 1800 square foot house?

Based on square footage alone, it isn't possible to specify a certain size required to keep your home warm. The age of the home (having a direct correlation with the type of insulation that is used), the height of the ceiling in your home, the existence of skylights, the number of outside doors and windows and basically the extent of exposure to the outside environment and the sun and your geographic location are all factors that determine the heat loss of your home.

To give you a reasonable range, the power output of your furnace should be anywhere from 55,000 to 65,000BTU/hr. When I say output, I am referring to efficiency x Input Power. For instance, a 92% rated 60,000BTU/hr furnace has an output of 55,200BTU/hr.

Check out the three charts in the related link (There is one chart for bungalow-type, one for semi-detached and one for 2-story detached homes)

In each category home, there is an estimated size for a home built before and a home built after 1980. This is simply to count for the extent of insulation to minimize heat loss and mostly aimed at the type of homes constructed in Southern Ontario. Find your answer in any of the charts and depending the age of home.

Do also keep in mind that these estimates are mostly good for climates in or similar to Southern Ontario.

Why electrode is submerged in submerged arc furnace?

Electrodes are Submerged in the Submerged Arc Furnace, into the raw materials. Reason, for allowing the electrodes to reside inside the charge mix, is the high resistance of the ores. Three purposes are served :

1. The heat coming out from arcing is utilized for preheating the ore at the upper strata.

2. Ore/Coke dust from reaction gases is entrapped in the charge mix, this increases the efficiency.

3. In case of power failure, the heat is retained in the molten alloy, meaning very low heat loss to the atmosphere.

How do you energize a furnace relay?

BY applying a voltage to the relay's coil connections. Could be DC or AC at a specific voltage. If it's DC, watch the polarity. If it's AC, polarity doesn't matter. HOWEVER, VOLTAGE DOES MATTER, so don't go applying 120 VAC to a relay when it needs only 16 VAC, and DON"T APPLY AC to a DC relay. Could burn up quite nicely if you're not careful.
