The fusible link box is almost always stored in the main fuse box of an automobile. If it needs replacement, it should be fixed, as failure to do so may cause an electrical short circuit.
The fusible link is located on the positive battery cable for a Ford f-150. There should be a little box around the cable with the words "fusible link" on it.
It is what is commonly referred to as the fuze box. Normally located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
Believe it or not but the fusible links are bolted on. The fusible links are in the fuse box in the engine compartment. They are 2cm square boxes with a clear window on top to view the link. Undo the 2 bolts holding the fuse box to the inner guard. Unclip the top and underside cover of the fuse box There will be a white cover under the fusible links Pry that off with a flat blade screwdriver. From the top of the fuse box push the screwdriver down the 2 slits either side of the fusible links (set of 3). This section now drops down revealing the bolts. One side is 8mm and the other side is 10mm. Undo the bolts on either side of the fusible link. The fusible link can now be pulled straight up. Replace the fusible link and reverse the steps above to install.
the fusible link is in the fuse box in the engine compartment. you will see the large fuses that should be black and yellow with a clear top piece. I just had a fusible link blow on mine and just replaced the 80amp one.

The main fusible link should be in the fuse box in the engine compartment (driver's side) near the windshield washer fluid container. Its a black wire that runs between two terminals.
The fusible link for the headlights on an Astro van is located in the fuse box under the dash just to the right of the steering wheel. There is also a fuse location on top of the battery in the engine compartment.

there is a fuse block located on the drivers side fenderwell which contains both fuses and fusible links. the fuse box is located in the drivers side kick-panel
If there is a fusible link in the truck, or just under the hood, it would be connected to your fuse box and attached to your positive terminal on the battery.
There will probably be several fusible links. They should be under the hood as well as possibly under the dash. Check in the inner fenders and close to the under the hood relay box.
