I assume you are asking how to do so. 1. Make sure that the tank is almost empty. 2. remove the three screws that hold the filler nozzle on. 3. Remove the hose clamp on the bottom of the filler tube. (If you can't reach the clamp now you can lower the tank slightly and hen remove.) 4. There are two long screws on the back of the tank holding the straps in place. Start taking these off. The tank will probably stick up in the hole prying from two points on the side of the tank will break this seal. Make sure that you are able to support the tank as it starts to lower.
There is four tubes on the top of the tank two are vents that go to each side of the tank. Two lines go to the fuel pump. While the tank is most of the way down you need to crawl above the tank (yes it is a pain) and remove these lines and the electrical wires.
The fuel tube line should nw be pulled off the side of the tank and the tank is free to come out.
My '93 Suburban held 42 gallons....in the tank. I never tried pumping it into the cargo area..
