Tigers are both male and female. As for specific roles, they are probably called the same things as domesticated cats. In pedigrees, cats and dogs are known as sires and dams, with the sire being the father and the dam being the mother. For house cats, males are called toms and females are queens or mollies. I am not sure if that applies to tigers too or not.
