Once they have already said their vows in front of god and they are then broken they don't go back to a place of worship with another partner to ask for god to look over them and guide them because it is wrong
Roman Catholic answer: Two people who are married are joined by God as one flesh. The commitment is permanent and can not be broken by men. If two Christians who have contracted a valid, sacramental marriage get a civil divorce, they are still married in the eyes of God and the church, and thus are ineligible to "remarry" someone else, i.e. they are already married.
i think you have to get an anollement first.
As long as the person remains separated and does not remarry, he/she is able to receive the sacraments. The Catholic Church does not recognize divorce.
ya
No according to the catholic church you should only marry once so if you try to marry again in Ireland in the catholic church they will not allow you to even if you were divorced in England.
yes, but you need to go through the priest to get an annullment because of improper form
recognition of pope in Rome and wanted to divorce and remarry
Some religions are happy to remarry divorced people in Church because:If they were not the partner who wanted the divorce, then it is unfair to not allow them to remarry as everyone deserves a chance to be happyA second marriage in Church shows that the couple are taking their vows seriouslyGod wants everyone to be happyThe Church needs to move into modern times, otherwise people will leave.
you cant because the church does not recognize divorces so if you divorce you can remarry any one except the person you divorced in the catholic church! if that is the case and its the same person just say you want your marriage vows renewedANSWER: If you wish to remarry in the RCC but NOT to the same women, you'll need to obtain a decree of nullity (Annulment) from the Catholic Church. Depending on the circumstances of your first marriage, it could take 1 to 3 years to obtain.
A divorced man/ woman cannot get married in the catholic church again. The sacrament of matrimony can be received only once in the Roman Catholic Church.
A Catholic whose former spouse is still alive and whose marriage was not ended through annulment would not be able to remarry in a Catholic church.
Currently, divorce is not okay with the church. Annulment is however. In order for a marriage to be annulled, one must prove there was one of several causes- abuse, adultery refusal to copulate, etc. If one goes through the annulment process, and it is approved, they may then remarry. A divorced person may try to have their marriage annulled later; but unless it is, they cannot remarry in the church.
If you were married in the Catholic Church and marriage ended in a divorce but not annullled, then, no, you cannot remarry in the Catholic Church. If you are Catholic and were married outside the church by say a justice of peace and marriage ended in a divorce but not annullled, then, yes you can remarry in the Catholic Church, with proper paperwork and oath commitments.
