Glass things
Fiberglass contains spun glass which is incredibly strong. The spun glass contains many glass fibers which bond together to give it its strength.
Patterned glass, also called rolled or obscure glass, is made in a similar way to float glass except that the glass ribbon passes between two rollers, and the pattern is pressed onto one surface of the glass to give the design impression. Rolled Glass of sheet, un-worked, not coloured HS Code 7003.19 (European 7003199000)
While Natural Glass has been used since the stone age, the earliest man-made glass objects, which were mainly glass beads, date to around 3500 BC, and are found in Egypt and Mesopotamia. However the oldest glass vases date back to the the 16th century, Mesopotamia. About that time in Egypt, Mycenae, China and North Tyrol the manufacturing of "hollow" glass was occurring.(Much later, blown glass was invented, but that was not seen until around 27BC-AD 14.)

cobalt glass is glass containing cobalt oxide or cobaltous oxide as a colouring agent. These oxides give the glass a blue colouring.
Use clear silicon--it has "give" and is not rigid.
Normally, glass contains SiO2 (sand or silicon dioxide), lime, and soda, added to give it a lower melting point. For precise lab work, where these would contaminate the results, then pure silica glass is used. The addition of boron gives the glass a lower coefficient of expansion, and this gives us such things as Pyrex, glass topped stoves, etc.
