The differential fluid on a GMC Jimmy is changed by removing the drain plug, draining the fluid, and re-installing the drain plug. The filler plug can then be taken out, fluid added until it reaches the bottom of the filler hole, and the plug re-installed.
5.5 pints of 75W-90 synthetic.
every 50,000 miles
No such thing.
Mine is 3.73 semi slip
It could be either a wheel bearing going bad or the front differential could be low of fluid. I would check the fluid first if it is low it could prove to be expensive if the ring and pinon gear gets burnt up or even the bearings. The plug should be in the driver side of the differential case.
On the bottom of the washer fluid tank.
