I can't help with the origins of Duragold except that it is a trademark for gold jewelry.. if I remember correctly when I purchased my gold necklace which is stamped 14K Duragold Italy it meant that the necklace had a special treatment or alloy that made it more durable. Don't knock it though, or think its fake. 3 years ago my 14K Duragold Italy necklace was appraised by a jewelry appraiser and certified for insurance for $500.00.

What does 929 mark mean on a gold necklace marked Italy?

There is no such standard mark 929 for Gold. In Italy, gold is usually 18K, and rarely jewelry would be made out of 22K gold, most commonly found in Middle-East and Asia. It is very probable that the necklace is of silver, which might have the fineness hallmark 925, and the number 5 on the end might have been mistaken for number 9.

I have a gold bracelet stamped with 925 Italy on one side and the other is stamped F A S what does this mean?

925 Italy means your bracelet was: made in Italy, it's 92.5% pure sterling silver, 7.5% infused alloy metal (possibly copper) and gold plated. -JagiMonster I believe that the above answer is correct for the most part, however since it was made in Italy and it is 925 sterling, the gold could be gold filled or vermeil both of which are much, much better than gold plated. You would have to ask a jewler. I know that there is an FAS jewelry school in Ireland. They may have one in Italy as well but I'm not certain.
