The two hoses going into the firewall are for your heater core. Chances are the core is plugged if one hose is hot and the other is cold. If so, remove both hoses and attach two 3 ft 5/8" plastic see thru hoses on them ( $3) the pour in a container of cooling system flush ($4)into both hoses and let it work. Now take a garden hose and give each side a good blast and you should see all kinds of corrosion blast out. Now do it again. If this does not work, your core probably will need replacing. I hope this helps you. Mark

Probably blocked heater matrix. Best thing to do is flush the cooling system with the best stuff you can get.

What do you mean by "has no heat"? No air blowing out, blowing out cold air when heater is on, blowing nothing at all? Heater not turning on? What specifically is happening?

faulty control valve on heater or air in the lines

Low coolant and a clogged heater core are possibilities.

One reason your home electric heater is blowing cold air is the heating elements are burned out. A bad thermostat may also be the problem.

If you are saying the heater is blowing out cold air you need to change the heater core which is located inside the dash

You may need to replace your Thermostat or your Heater Core.

did you check the heater core because my truck did that and that was what was wrong

Check to see if you pilot light is lit

Most likely your pilot light is out

It is because your heater is having to heat up so its blowing cold air out while its heating up.This means your heater is not very efficient and it needs to be checked.

Maybe its broken. Or maybe you pressed the AIR CONDITIONING

it is blocked and needs to be flushed out

You need to change your thermostat in the car.

The most common reason the heater is blows cold air on a 1999 Ford Winstar is a bad thermostat or blocked heater core.

Which part isn't working? Is it blowing air but it stays cold, is it not blowing at all or is it just blowing to the defroster?

Because you don't have enough coolant in your radiator.

You should check the thermostat and the fuse for the heater.

If you feel no air blowing at all (when you are not moving) then your fan is not blowing. If it is blowing air, and it is cold, when the heater is on, then most probably your heater core is leaking, or is clogged. These are easily replaceable and go bad all the time in older cars.

it could be a couple of things you could have a bad thermostat or a bad heater core

Low on coolant. Bad thermostat. plugged heater core. Temp blend door malfunction.
