Urine that is dark is either very concentrated meaning you need more fluids or possibly a sign of a UTI (urinary tract infection). Urine that is brown or wine colored probably contains blood and needs to be seen by your OB doctor.
Some foods can change the color or odor of urine, drinking a couple large glasses of water should be all you need to flush it out.
Some women are prone to UTI or kidney infections during pregnancy - this can turn into a miscarriage if not treated promptly so any abnormal urine should be reported to your doctor.
Drinking cranberry or citrus juice can help prevent infection or prevent it from returning - if you are too nauseous for the juice, you can take cranberry capsules with a large glass of water - they contain no drugs.
