A group of similar cells that do the same work is a tissue. So we have muscle tissue made from muscle cells.

A group of tissues that work together is called an organ, so muscle tissue, nerve tissue and connective tissue all work together to make the heart. When we have a group of organs all working together for a particular function we have a system, so the heart, lungs, veins and arteries are all part of the circulatory system.
