why do we? well, personally, it's not the guy checking (the girl) out that bugs me, it's the girl's reaction. it depends on the guy; there is not one answer, but id say there's about two types - the jealous type, & then the guy who says - damnright that's mine (braggy)

Of course guys can get jealous just how you can get jealous.When a girl is dating a guy and she starts flirting with this guy they are talking to he will get jealous don't you think. They also get jealous when you intimidate them by being smarter,taller better looking, and e.t.c.Its not that the guy is jealous its just he wants to be with you but every guys you talk to or hang out with is in the way of you guys being together. Why not just ask him why is he jealous or just ask him out see what he says.
