i just bought a ducktown tn 45 an the way to open it is:there is a square pin under the hammer wiggle the hammer back and push the square pin out to the left side of the gun until it is level then push the pin with the spring on it and the chamber will come off to put it back together u have to make sure that the notch on the pin is flat up top

yes and no when a hollowpoint is shot it does not open but when it hit a object it shatters and bounces around
