It's a security measure so people don't steal the stereo from your car. You can call the dealer where you bought the car to get a 5-digit stereo code. When you bought the car, they gave you a credit-card looking thing with the five numbers on it as well as a sticker or two with the number on it. You can look for the car or inside your glove compartment to see if you have the sticker. If not, the last place you can look (if the dealer doesn't have you in their system) is inside the lid of the fuse box on your engine. It's a little 5X8 black box with four latches. Just take off the cover and if you're lucky it'll have a 5-digit code on the inside of the cover. Punch in the numbers on your stereo and you should be good to go.
This new car came with an owners manual. Open the manual and read. There you will find instructions on how to change the battery. Or you can ask the selling dealer as the battery should not be dead in this short period of time.

You need the radio code, usually a 5 digit number you key in on using the radio preset buttons. It should have been written in the owners manual or a small card that is with the owners manual. If you have lost, The Honda dealership should be able to supply it to you from your VIN number.
