You did the crime now you do the time. Tough it out. It has been said that if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch and pee with the pups.

However, if you need a cure, the simplest answer is don't drink. If you do drink, do so in moderation. Many people find that clear spirits such as vodka and gin are less likely to cause hangovers.

If it too late for that, look to the old school cure; bite the dog that bit you.

A hangover is an imbalance in your system caused by the alcohol, essentially too much being washed out of your system at once and your body's inability to keep up. This combined with dehydration.

If you attempt to cure the dehydration with large amounts of water, you will become drunk all over, and likely sick drunk. So, instead, be a bit reactionarily proactive and drink a shot of the poison you were quaffing the night before.

And then sit for a few minutes.

Of course drinking and driving being what it is, you probably shouldn't drive yourself to work. So either get on the "Alcoholic Cycle," or learn your lesson and leave the bottle alone until you mature sufficiently to learn how to drink it.

None of the commercial products for hangover being sold has proven effective in preventing hangovers.
