I did when I met my second husband. I had been single for 4 years before I met him. I dated a lot, had a lot of male friends, girlfriends and lots of fun, but just couldn't seem to find the right person for me. I wasn't picky, but the chemistry wasn't right. Then one day one of my male friends introduced me to my second husband and as soon as I saw him I knew I would be marrying him. He was everything I was looking for. Tall, good looking (to me), very kind and gentle and had a good sense of humor. He was also very patient and both men, women and peers really liked him (important to me.) We just celebrated our 35 wedding anniversary last August.
The chemistry is when out of the blue you look at that person, they look at you and it's as if you've known that person before and feel extremely comfortable with them. You can't wait for the weekends to come so you can spend time together and those romantic evenings. I was so proud to introduce him to my family and friends. We encouraged each other and were there 100% for each other. It's not just all fireworks, but a feeling of total peace and safety when you are with this person. Like two souls have become one.
