There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc. On rare occasions you can encounter a false positive due to improper testing, expired pregnancy tests, rare medical conditions such as certain types of cancer, evaporation lines or a chemical pregnancy.
Not typically but the HCG levels are highest in the morning so it is possible. There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. To ensure the best results: * Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1 day before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period, the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam-like strip * Check the results in the window frame of time suggested by the instructions of the pregnancy test. .
Yes. Morning urine has the most concentrated levels of the pregnancy hormone. If you take another one tomorrow morning and it's positive, go see your doctor.
apparently that means it is still positive but I would take another one tomorrow or the next day and with your morning pee t
It probably means your not pregnant. Although you should take another test to calculate better results.
Yes, the urine in the morning has high quanties of the hormones needed to produce a positive pregnancy test. If you are very early on in your pregnancy, it could show up negative later in the day, either wait a bit longer - a few more weeks, before taking another test, or even better go to the doctors and he will do a blood test! Yes, that is why the instructions tell you to test with the first urine you pass in the morning. The test is 99% accurate if positive with the first urine of the day.
No
No, a negative pregnancy test means the nausea is caused by something besides pregnancy.
It would seem one of the test kits was faulty, but the most reliable way to do a test is with fresh urine. take another test or visit your GP. Good luck
this same thing happened to me... this morning i had a negative preg. test - but yesterday i had a positive... not sure- but feel pregnant- i have an 8 mo. old- and i feel like i did when i was preg. with him...
Depends what time of the day you do the test which relates to how concentrated the pregnancy hormone is and how easily a home pregnancy test can pick it up.... i had it the opposite way round had a negative using an evening time sample then a positive the very next morning with first mornings sample.... also its much more common to get a false negative than a false positive so your most liekly pregnant babe!
Home pregnancy test can be wrong but any mark in the result window, even if very faint, is positive for pregnancy. Retake the test...the best time to test is in the morning when your urine is concentrated.
Yes, it could be positive in the morning. Morning urine is more concentrated than evening urine. The morning would be the best time to take it :) http://wish2conceive.com
The morning after pill or emergency contraception will not effect the outcome of a pregnancy test. If you have taken emergency contraception and have had a positive home pregnancy test you are very likely pregnant and should see a Dr.
