My partner began using Pristiq one week ago and the results have been astounding. He has become a happy human being with normal responses to both the good and bad that life can pose. I am on the look out for the possible side effects and after reading many articles it seems withdrawing from the drug may become a greater challenge than perhaps your doctor has prepared you for. No. They are not even in the same category of drug. Hydrocodone is an opioid, Pristiq is an antidepressant.
