There is an unsubstantiated report of at least one very light-complected Black member of the KKK in the 1920s because of its strong support for National Prohibition. If this actually occurred, he may have "passed " for white with the Klan being unaware of the fact.
It's difficult to answer this question, because nearly every country has gone through periods of bigotry, prejudice, and racism. In the US, there was slavery and segregation and the rise of hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan. But in European countries, there was harsh persecution of Jews, or gypsies, or immigrants-- especially those with dark skin. No country seems to be immune from having at least one group that is considered inferior.
He was born in Charles County, Maryland in 1866. He was a farming family and the blacks were being abused by the Ku Klux Klan AKA K.K.K. He then later moved North to Washington D.C. His mother died and his father could no longer provide for him so he moved in with his grandfather. After some time he too could no longer provide for him so he got a job at a restaurant owned by Janey Moore. He lived there and she was nice but he was still not happy and decided to get a job as cabin boy. There I told you more than you needed to know :D
best of times because everything was changing and fast. Women: once the men had left for ww1 women took their roles, they proved the male-dominated society they were capable of what men were, regardless of the stereotype. But once the men came back they were put back in the private sphere of the home. With advertising becoming huge, women were portrayed in shorter, flowy, colourful skirts, bright and bold makeup, statement jewellery. This was new. Women wage was intro'd, women were divorcing. Also cool electrical appliances which made life easier such as freezers, fridges, washing machines and cars were new and women didn't want to do it the hard way when they could have these machines. African americans: were suppressed by society, the ku klux klan held them responsible for all the problems going on in America at the time... they were lynching aa's in public. jim crows laws were also introduced which demanded separate drinking fountains, toilets, playgrounds, schools, hospitals, etc etc from white people cos aa's were considered 'dirty' prohibition was good for a bit but then gangsters and mafia roles evolved, taking al the profit the government would've usually gotten from alcohol. al 'scarface' capone for example, owned speakeasies, did rumrunning, boot legging, moonshining, bribed politicians with $$ and alcohol, and earned more than pretty much anyone at the time. organized crime was on a high

a Klonversation was the code ku klux Klan members spoke in to find out if the person they were talking to was a member also. some common phrases: ayak-are you a Klansman? akia-a Klansman I am.
Yes....
Mainly in the South. It is sometimes tolerated by Prison Guards and watchmen as they stand for no nonsense among Black inmates, and maybe a few Klansman in prison garb might keep things quiet in the mess hall.
If there are, they should leave.
Democrats have always been a racist party. The party formed to commit genocide on the American Indians with the "Trail of Tears." Then they promoted a war to keep and spread slavery to the western territories. President Franklin Roosevelt(D) sent 120,000 Asians to gulags during WWII and nominated a Ku Klux Klansman to sit on the US Supreme Court. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Democrats repeatedly put a Klansman in the line of Presidential Succession.
I'm sure that the Klansman would be quite stressed but it is likely that the couple would know nothing about his feeling because for him to act on those feeling may be breaking the law. If he said something to the couple, it is likely that they would not care how he felt. The Klansman would be in a small minority in today's society and unless he did something to vent his feelings illegally, he is free to think what he wishes.
they were white
Ku Klux Klan.
Supremacists. There have been several different groups of supremacists in history (and still flourish); the Nazis, Black Panthers, and the Ku Klux Klan, just to name a few.
