You need to remove the oil sending unit, and install a oil pressure gauge in it's place so you can read the actual oil pressure ( PSI ) that the pump is pumping when the engine is running. That will rule out a bad gauge in the dash. If the gauge that you installed is reading low oil pressure then you need to remove and inspect the oil pump for wear and make sure the oil pump pick up screen is not stopped up.
If pump is okay and pick up screen is good, Then you have excessive bearing clearance / wear. May be time for overhaul.
Relieve the fuel pressure. which is located on the fuel rail in front of the regulator. you will see a black cap. Unscrew it and press the pin down. keep your face away and have a rag around. One thats done, it's fairly simple. You will need an torx bit (size 10T) but make sure is has aq little hole in the middle. its some kind of locking device and most auto parts store have this. Unscrew the torx screws and the regulator comes right off.
it could be a number of things. valves, fuel injectors, or even the rods. like in my case i had a bad ticking and loss of oil pressure. thats when the oil pump gave out.
I don't know thats way I ask
yes u can but then remove exhaust n make it total free flow remove the fuel pressure regulator and a k&n intake + insert cbr 250 injector thats all :D
You cant bypass a fuel pump. Thats where the gas comes from smartie
