Could be a bad coolant temperature sensor Could be a bad ignition coil
It COOLS the transmission fluid down and keeps it from getting to HOT.
cools the tranny fluid.
The 2 lines that come from the transmission and go to the radiator are full of transmission fluid and the radiator is what cools it.
That is the transmission oil cooler. It cools the transmission fluid as you drive.
A convection current is created when a heated material continually rises, cools and sinks. Plate tectonics are driven by this type of motion,

you probably needed recharging
What vehicle? Most likely to radiator that cools engine coolant, if not then there is a separarte tranny oil cooler.
Yes. The transmission fluid is cooled by a separate set of cooling lines in the radiator that cools your engine. If the radiator has an internal leak, cross-contamination may indeed occur. Only a little amount of engine coolant in your transmission can cause a transmission malfunction.
Be sure cooling fan for radiator is kicking in. Since radiator also cools transmission fluid. Also, be sure fluid levels are okay. Sometimes the simple things can cause the biggest problems.
check your fluids it is probably low on antifreeze and if it still does it change your thermostat that should fix the problem
