Try checking your thermostat. It may be remaining closed thus causing the hose to collapse.(i.e. no circulation in the cooling system.) When you put the new lower hose on, did you put the spring that comes in the box into the hose? The spring is added so the hose won't collapse during acceleration, (when the water-pump creates a vacuum in the lower hose).
Spark plugs need to be changed. had the same problem and it disappeared when I replaced the plugs.
I had the same problem in my 97 LS Coupe. I changed out the antenna and that didn't resolve the problem. I replaced the stereo with an after market stereo and the problem was resolved.
check fuel pressure regulator
Hello there i own a 2002 escape and had this very same problem. After it happened twice to me i changed out the battery with a new one and it seemed to fixe the problem but recently i have it happen twice again and just with a little pump of the gas it starts so I'm thinking the fuel pump. you might wanna look into that
Yes it will. That happened to my wifes car. The mechanic replaced the pump and it still had the same problem. Replaced the fuel pump regulator and still the same problem. The problem was the ignition switch was shorted and the car thought it was being stolen and shut off the fuel pump. Hope it helps!
If the problem started after you replaced a fuse, you need to check that the fuse is good and installed properly.
Your phone may be dysfunctional, and need to be replaced. The battery is usually the main problem with this, and can be purchased at a battery store, or Verizon store.
If you replaced the hose and it happened again, it's probably an over-pressure condition. If you HAVEN'T replaced the hose, try it. I had this exact problem. I put a screw type clamp on it instead of the spring type. took care of that problem..
my daughter has a 98 neon and it had the same exact problem. What i found was that the left front rubber line was so old that it was collapsing when the brakes got up to operating temp in essence making the brake drag until it almost locked. She got it so hot it melted the hubcap. I replaced with new rubber line and haven't had the problem since.
I had this problem on a 2001 Ford Fiesta. I ended up having to get the temparature gauge sender unit replaced.
Oil pump needs replaced, engine light comes on because of low oil preasure.I just changed mine out and it took care of the problem.
I have the same problem. I have just got it out of the mechanics after they changed the resistor on the blower. I have just been looking in my cars' history paperwork and it's been replaced before. Seems to be a common problem.
