Scientists who study tornadoes do various things. Some such as Josh Wurman use a Doppler radar mounted on a truck to gather wind and other data from a distance. Others work on deploying probes, which carry scientific instruments, to take measurements from directly inside a tornado. Still other scientists work on creating computer models of thunderstorms and tornadoes.
appearance , dedication , and knowledge
The idea is that studying tornadoes, which sometimes means getting close to them, allows us to better understand them. A better understanding of tornadoes may help us predict them, which would mean better warnings for people who might be in the path of a tornado.

On the work of classical and medieval scientists before them.
Neptune was found after the found of Uranus. When scientists found Uranus, they noticed that the way Uranus was rotating was a little strange, then they knew the reason it was rotating strangely! There was another planet making it rotate like that! So the scientists started their work----the work of finding another planet. Few years after Neptune was discovered. They named Neptune after the Roman god of Sea, because the planet's blueness reminded people of water.
its about tornadoes and how they work/do.

Tornadoes are not named. Tornadoes are too short-lived for a name to be useful, and there are simply too many of them for any naming system to work.
Scientists work on different stuff then historians do.
Scientists work together because, if one scientist get an answer wrong the other scientists might get it right and this is the same with experiments
Tornadoes hurt and kill people and can destroy their homes, schools, and places where they work.
