There are wars going on today in the Gaza Strip over Judiasm. Islam and Judaism have been in conflict for thousands of years over the territory of Cannan or what is now Israel. God promised the Abraham's desecendants the land in exchange for a covenant with God. The Hewbrews believe that they are the choosen people to lead by example. The Romans forced the Hebrews from their land promised by God (Israel). The United States gave Israel back to the Jews in 1948 after the Holicost.
