Take this time and enjoy yourself - keep busy with activities, sports, friends and family. Don't let this get you down although he seems to need time right now that doesn't mean when or if he will want you back by then you may realize you really don't want to be with him anyway and someone else may have come a long by then. It is a new school year and sometimes they want to see what else is out there unfortunately but you can also do the same. Play the field and get involved with school events, new friends and have fun!!! Believe it or not it is great to be single you have your whole future to be tied down when/if you get married. I suppose it depends on why you broke up. If you still love one another, it seems like there is no reason you shouldn't get back together. If you broke up because you have feelings for someone else, it wouldn't be fair for you to get back together with him. If he hurt you, there's also no reason you should even consider getting back together with him.
