WHAT IS THE BRAKE DOWN OF THE VIN #
Yes they will bolt down with no modifications
This gun has a 2 piece bolt - the back of the bolt with the handle and locking rib is separate from the bolt head and extractor. These two parts must be split in order to get the bolt out. This is easy. Open the bolt and pull back until the rear of the bolt rib is in line with the back of the receiver. Turn down the rib 90 degrees to the right. Pull the bolt straight out. You will leave the bolt head still in the receiver. Pick up the bolt head and re-attach it to the bolt head by slipping it over the firing pin and turning the rear rib back into the vertical position. Reverse the operation to re assemble the bolt. (take off the bolt head - insert rear of bolt into receiver - add the front end with extractor lying on the receiver bed - turn rib to the top again.
Imagine your head, choose the upper farthest left bolt (looking front the side) call that 1. Than the bolt directly will be 4. So your head should have bolts in this sequence:____l1234ll5678lStart with 1, than 6, 3, than 8, 5, than 2, 7, than 4. SNUG THEM ALL DOWN IN THIS ORDER BEFORE YOU TORQUE THEM DOWN!!! THIS ENSURES THE HEAD IS ON STRAIGHT SO IT WILL SEAL PROPERLY.
The tension on a 1988 Ford F150 can be loosened by adjusting the belt tensioner. The retaining bolt is loosened, the tensioner shifted slightly, and tightened down.
Take a flat-head screw driver and put it between the bolt handle and the gun. Push down on the screw driver to push the bolt away from the gun.
if your cylinder head is made out of aluminum ,i would say to re-torque the head.the bolts holding the head down get lengthened by the head expanding faster than the bolts.
To shut down the umps you head-but them or smash them and when they stop and have smoke on them, that means they are destroyed/shut down. Hope this helps! Good luck!
you need to get them down at 95 ft pounds every other
Typically, slide the bolt forward, and swing bolt handle down. Some rifles have a "hold open" feature when the magazine is empty. With those rifles, to close the bolt when magazine is empty, press the magazine follower down with your thumb, and hold it until bolt is started forward, then slide bolt closed, swing bolt handle down.
there are eight head bolts start by snuging the bolts down then grab a torque wrench starting with the left bolt closest to the front of the engine torque the bolt down at 15lbs then the right side bolt in the far corner then the left side bolt second from the back then the right side bolt second from the front then the bolt straight across from it then the right side bolt second from the back then the bolt in the left side back corner and then to the right front corner bolt then set the torque wrench to 25lbs repeat same pattern and u dont have to but u can set the torque wrench to 28 lbs for a third pass then go over every bolt one last time to make sure they are all the same
head bolt torque specs 3 steps first torque to 12.7 to 16.2 second 90degree turn third another 90 degree turn. head bolt pattern intake side 8 4 1 5 9.exhuastside 7 3 2 6 10.
