Take a flat-head screw driver and put it between the bolt handle and the gun. Push down on the screw driver to push the bolt away from the gun.

There is a bolt that is blocked by the pulley. In order to remove the pump you need to remove that bolt. So you need to remove the pulley first to get access to that bolt.
Simple as Pie. (or PI). Remove the buttplate screws and buttplate. Unscrew the buttstock Bolt, all the way, with a LONG screwdriver, remove the bolt and slide off the stock.

use impact gun or use the the starter to loosen the bolt with a long Johnson bar or ratchet.
If it is like the 2002 model then there should be a long small sized bolt sticking up in front of the battery. Unscrew the bolt and it releases the wedge block. Remove cables. That's it.

Remove the knee pad underneath the steering wheel, there are 5 sheet metal screws hidden between the carpet loops in the knee pad. Reach up and press the instrument cluster out a few inches, it is not held by screws just pressure. Remove the one nut holding a long bolt through the ignition lock. Turn the key to position one. Remove the long bolt by pushing upwards with a long nail or other bolt. Remove the trim piece around the key area by unscrewing it. Remove the ignition lock from under the dash. Disconnect the ignition switch.
First you must remove the buttpad, or buttplate that you have on the stock. You will reveal the hole that the bolt goes into. You will need either a long screw driver or a extension attachment for a ratchet wrench in order to take the bolt out and the stock off.
