The only thing special about the Vortec is the heads -bore and stroke should be the same on all 350 blocks. Cam is probably different though.

its .060 for the 5.7 liter a.k.a 350 vortec engine, if youre using platinum plugs, then they are pre gapped from the factory.
It requires an engine scanner to set the timing on that year engine.

it will fit but you will have issues on starting it because vortec is efi and in 93 they didint have all that comp stuff but yes it should bolt up mine did i used a 98 vortec motor and put it in a 93
Main bearing torque on 98 Chevy 350 4 bolt main?? The main bearing caps should be torqued to 70 ft. lbs.
