Check your headlight switch, canisters, and vaccum lines. It has to be one of those three things. RJ Sottile www.hobbycarcorvettes.net
If the 1998 Corvette headlights will not go on, you might have bad bulbs or a bad headlight fuse. You can check the fuses by removing the fuse box cover below the dashboard.
If you respect others then you will go to an auto body shop and have them adjust them for you. I am sure you have had the experience of someone elses misadjusted headlights.
the same thing happened to me. i bought a rebuilt headlight motor
In most cases, around 120-125 MPH
The head lights go up and down by vaccum canisters. If the canisters go bad on the down side then they will go up but wont go donw. If you look up front in front of the radiator you will see to goldish round canisters those are what goes bad. RJ Sottile www.hobbycarcorvettes.net
You have to go to the dealer and ask them to turn them off, otherwise they leave them on as running headlights. They will do this for free.
get a new head light motor
you have a bulb out. go buy a new one and they will start working
underneath the steering column should be a knob that goes vertically up and down, if its down then the headlights will stay up by shutting the vacuum and if its up then the headlights will go down automatically when the light knob is pushed in.
i bet it wouldn't be hard to put the headlights on the radeo power that comes on when the ignition is on...
A stock corvette can go 190 mph
i would assume you need to turn your headlights off as they are the most common reason for the beeping after you turn off the car. My headlights are off and the car is still beeping
