Turning on the heater allows the hot water and coolant to enter the heater core. The heater core is really just another radiator designed to extract the heat in the coolant and pass it on into the air surrounding it,in this situation the driving compartment, thus dropping the temperature of the coolant, thus cooling the over heating engine.
You clean bricks in a gas wall heater by turning the gas off and scrubbing them with a non flammable cleaner.
how much does the average gas home heater cost for a 3 bedroom single home?
The heater and AC knobs on a 1971 250c Mercedes work by turning in a clockwise or counterclockwise manner.
What do you mean by "has no heat"? No air blowing out, blowing out cold air when heater is on, blowing nothing at all? Heater not turning on? What specifically is happening?
YES!!
there a switch on your heater control panel.be more specific to get a proper answer
you would have to bypass the heater core first.
Do you mean that the heater will not shut down either by turning the thermostat down or turning the switch off. If turning the pump off will not shut down the heater it could possibly be one of the high limits or the gas valve has failed in the open position. If the heater will not fire when calling for heat then one or more components has failed. k
