The phones use CDMA technology (as opposed to AT&T and T-Mobile which use GSM), so in THEORY you would be able to activate a Helio device on the Verizon Network.
All Helio devices natively use the Sprint Network for primary transit, and will resort to using Verizon's network when roaming.
