Well this could be a problem or a manufacture standard as in: #1 If this was a manufacture standard this wording you use "loose" is actually called stability .As you know as you drive faster your car gets lighter so that depends on the cars weight and another thing which could be a problem... #2 If it was not the weight then its a problem with your car's suspension it's simple though ,you should consult a mechanic for this issue as you need to tighten your car's base ,and stiff the suspension more... You should send your car to the maintenance ,they will do this work regularly... Hope I helped....
Depending on the model and year, there is a problem with steering box. Google "Galant recall" you should find the recall date for this problem. Once you find it, call a the dealer who last worked on your car and ask if you can get a copy of all "recall work" done on your car. If the steering box was not replaced, call the dealer and demand that the box be replaced per the recall. If this fails, call the 800 number listed when you Googled for the information. Sam
Steering wheel vibration when applying brakes is usually caused by warped disc brake rotors
I have a 95 galant that would just quit running at a stop or even driving it would just loose all electrical power. It turned out to be the cheap alarm system they put in it. when i removed the alarm it quit having the problem.
Just below the steering wheel.

i am having the same problem with my galant.
I had the same problem with my 97 galant. There was air in the heater core.
I had the same problem trying to locate the port for the OBD II on the Mitsubishi 2003 Galant.. It turns out that it is on the drivers side, under the dash where the steering wheel is located. I had to get on my back with a flashlight to get to it, but it is pretty easy to spot when you are down there.. Mine was White. I hope this helps you out..
why dont i have spark on 2001 galant you might have to change your Crankshaft position sensor. i just had that problem with my galant after timing belt broke.
It shouldn't be that hard. Maybe you are low on power steering fluid. Or the pump could be bad.
