Help with 1997 Toyota Corolla Dx p1600 fault code.ECM Battery Malfunction. Is there a battery in the ECM or external source. How do I fix this issue?

replace your computer.. mine got wet ..cup holder is in the same spot and wet the connections..buy one used 40 bucks take it out and replace, make sure its the same as the old one..look up the vin call the dealer and ask whats the computer compatible with yours and then buy on ebay
