Helwan 9 mm good condition is worth how much?

Depending on what part of the country you live in, prices will vary. Here in the southwestern part of the U.S. they run around $200 - $250. I have seen new ones in the box (cleaning rod, magazine, owners manual) go for as high as $350. About a year ago, (prior to the election) they were around the gun shows and a few pawn shops selling for $125 - $150. I had one around that time and had paid $130. I like the Helwan, a good shooting, accurate, personal protection weapon, A friend talked me into selling it to him, which now I really, really regret doing, thinking it would be easy to find another one. Wrong. I could not find any in the gun stores, pawn shops or gun shows inn my area. I had to go to one of the gun auction internet sites to find another one, paying $220 plus shipping. If you go to an internet gun auction, make sure they have a 3 day rule you can return the weapon if it is not working properly or is not as good a conditon as stated in the description. All in all, the old saying, " It's worth what someone will pay" still stands true. Since the election, people are "panicking" creating a large demand, sending firearms and ammunition prices through the roof! So, if you are going to buy, you better by now before they go even higher.
