Weight loss. Well, it's more like mathematics... you eat, you consume energy throughout the day, if the kilocalories that you are burning are more than what you eat, you'll lose weight.

I found that if you're eating salty foods, your body tends to retain water (my dad and my sister are both scientists but i get bored with techy geeky stuff lol)
So the key to a healthier lifestyle is to cut out fatty, fried carbohydrates(potatoes are not that helpful especially fried ones) but eat good carbs (steamed broccoli and cauliflower) brown rice,
If you balance your meals with protein, carbs, and vegetables... you will feel much more energy and you will see your body get healthier.
I'm sorry but I just can't condone in stupid maple syrup/cayenne pepper detox crap which will undoubtedly shed water weight and give you the illusion of losing weight, but that is only a temporary shift. If you keep eating nothing, your metabolism could also drop, which means your body will stop losing weight at that first rate because it will try to conserve what it has in storage.
Sorry, exercise and eat well, and love your body.
Did you know that with turbulent mood swings, sometimes the body thinks that you're in a crisis and decides to store all the nutrients it can?
Also, mrs. comfort food is mr. mood swing's wife.
Try to think what triggers binge eating?
Is it because you're actually lonely? or thirsty?
This method may take longer but at least you won't look like a gaunt, ashen, pale sick person that is skinnier but cranky with no energy to live life with.
