A Long life for a Betta is around 30 months.
Betta fish don't even think about goldfish they need 10 gallons each. If your bowl is bigger than 1 gallon a betta will do fine. Below 1 gallon get a ghost shrimp or snail
Betta fish, guppies, tetras.
Yes of course! Fish are always good pets because they are easy to take care of.
Betas are intresting fish. While for any fish they REQUIRE over 20 gallons, betas dont really care. I used to have 1 beta in a 29 gallon tank. He was in their for a year then I moved him into a bowl for a year. All the stress levels where the same. I dont really think bettas care about space because they hardly swim around and because they are labrinth fish the breath from the surface to get oxygen.
there is no best climate just make sure you have a 2.5 gallon or more tank and NEVER put BETTA Fish TOGETHER UNLESS for breeding resonds AFTER you do really good research. GOOD LUCK :)
The fish are not bad together. But way to many fish for a ten gallon tank. You put one fish for every gallon. They will probly do fine but you will have to clean more.
A small fish bowl is bad for any fish. You need minimal 5 gallon for a single betta. You need minimal 20~30 gallon for a single fancy goldfish, 40~55 gallon for a single common goldfish. Because fish produce ammonia and it is toxic to themselves. Goldfish has such large body mass, so they produce enormous amount of ammonia. You must have a good filter system, and do a nitrogen cycle first before adding any fish at all.
Yes, betta fish can eat snails as part of their diet. Snails can provide a good source of protein for betta fish.
I wouldn't put any fish in a tank that small, but if you can keep it really clean and the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate down, a Betta is a pretty good choice
betta bowl. it is amazing
NO
If you have a good idea about how to take care of the fish then yeah it can live up to five years
