it depends if it is wet then you will need to go to the dealership and get the factory spark plug and if this is not the problem take it to a shop to get it checked out or change and adjust the carbureator so that water or something doesnt get in there.

i had the same exact problem with my 2001 polaris sportsman 400. It is either your voltage regulator or your stator. With your ATV running disconnect the positive terminal on your battery. IF the ATV quits instantly then its probably your stator.

if your car will not stay charged, try running radio lights and all sorts of things that plug in to ac plug and if your car dies you need a new alternator
