Check brake fluid level in master cylinder Make sure parking brake is fully released

Just check your brake lite switch which is located at the brake pedal the switch might be broken that is why your brake lite is always on.
The brake lite switch is right over the brake petal. It faces the driver. If you have Cruise on the truck, that switch is in the same spot. It will have a hose running off it. The brake lite switch only has wires.
Check the lite bulb it is OK check if there is power at the lite when you press peddle/lever.If no power check brake switches and fuses as well as connections on wires.
brake lite switch will keep it in park

it has no leaks and when you put it in reverse and put on emergency brake the lite dont blink compressor is turning but not coo
Try replacing the bulb first.
The turn signal switch is bad. Happened to me on a 99 Lumina. Got to pull steering wheel, etc. to replace switch. The brake light circuit goes through turn signal switch. The third (high mounted brake lite) brake lite uses switch on brake pedal
