The cause of both battles was to try and drive the Allies out of Africa. -The effect was just the opposite as Rommel exceeded his supply lines and was forced into retreat.
Canada,Australia, New Zealand,South Africa,India,China,West Indies,I suppose all those countries who were attacked and resisted could be described as being allied to the cause,Holland, Denmark,Norway, Czechoslovakia,Poland,Greece, Belgium,Yugoslavia,Philipinoes, the Palestinian Jews provided the British army with the Special Interrogation Group in North Africa and the Ghurka's came from Nepal.
Well italians were axis, Americans were allied, if an Italian and an American came across each other they would attempt to kill each other. Americans died in North Africa, sicily, Italy, Italians were the cause of most of those deaths.
After entering World War I in 1917, the United States contributed significantly to the Allied cause by providing fresh troops, supplies, and financial resources. The American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) helped bolster the exhausted Allied armies, participating in key battles such as the Second Battle of the Marne and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Additionally, the U.S. supplied critical materials and food, enhancing the overall war effort and morale among Allied nations. Financially, American loans supported the Allies, helping sustain their military operations.
You need to be more specific on this question. i assume ur talking about World War 2...but it could be world war 1. Well if u r talking about WW 2 then Italy was part of the axis and allied with Hitler. So....they were the enemy of the united states and Britain and it was invaded from the newly conquered North Africa.
