  1. Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing the crust)

  • For the toppings:

  • 1-2 cups fresh spinach (washed and roughly chopped)

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese (crumbled)

  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives (pitted and sliced)

  • 1/2 small red onion (thinly sliced)

  • 1-2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional if you want a little gooeyness in addition to the feta)

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (or fresh if available)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil (for drizzling over the pizza)

  • For the sauce (optional):

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (to brush over the sauce, if used)

  • Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place inside your pizza stone - if you have one while heating.

  • Prepare the Dough:

Roll the pizza dough over a lightly floured surface or a greased baking sheet. If you're going to use a pizza stone, carefully transfer the dough onto a pizza peel or another floured surface to slide it onto the oven stone.

  • Spread over the Sauce (Optional):

If you want to use tomato sauce, simply spread it all over the dough in a thin, even layer. However, when in doubt, you can simply brush the dough lightly with olive oil for a more authentic Greek-style pizza.

  • Layer on the Toppings:

Sprinkle over your dough with shredded mozzarella cheese (if using).

Layer on the fresh spinach, crumbled feta cheese, sliced olives, and red onions.

For some added kick, sprinkle minced garlic all over your pizza.

Finish off with the oregano, salt, and pepper to add taste.

  • Drizzle with Olive Oil:
