Here is a simple recipe to make Masala Pasta:
Ingredients:
1 cup pasta (any shape)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 capsicum, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
Boil the pasta as per instructions on the packet. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to crackle, add onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes, capsicum, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add all the spices - red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add boiled pasta to the pan and mix well with the masala.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
